A standard 3" × 4" toploader with a 35pt wall. It fits one standard-size card (2.5" × 3.5", about 63 × 88 mm) in a penny sleeve. That covers Pokémon, Magic: The Gathering, Lorcana, One Piece and most sports cards. For other thicknesses, see our toploader size guide.
Yes. Put the card in a penny sleeve first. The sleeve stops the card surface and corners rubbing on the PVC as it slides in and out, and it makes the card easier to remove later.
Usually not. Most graders ask for cards in a semi-rigid card saver because it is easier to remove the card without damage. Rules change, so check PSA's current submission guidance before you pack an order.
No. A loaded toploader is too large and stiff for standard binder pockets. Use a binder made for toploaders, such as the premium 9-pocket binder, or keep them upright in a storage box.
Usually not. 35pt is made for normal-thickness cards. Thick patch, relic or memorabilia cards need a toploader with a higher pt rating, and we do not sell one at the moment. Forcing a thick card in can damage its edges.
Choose the 25-pack for a small batch of hits or a new trade binder. The 100-pack costs less per toploader and suits full sets, singles sellers and anyone who ships cards often. Both packs contain the same 35pt 3" × 4" toploader.
Sleeve the card, slide it into the toploader, and tape the opening shut with low-tack tape so the card cannot slip out. A team bag over the toploader adds a dust seal. Then send it in a bubble mailer.

TCG Protectors toploaders are rigid, clear PVC holders that measure 3 × 4 inches with a 35pt wall. They are made for standard-size trading cards (2.5 × 3.5 in, about 63 × 88 mm) that are already in a penny sleeve, the size used by Pokémon, Magic: The Gathering, Lorcana, One Piece and most sports cards. Our 35pt top loaders come in packs of 25 or 100.
A toploader keeps a single card flat and stops bends in a storage box, a backpack or at a show. It does not replace a penny sleeve, and it is not the holder most graders want for submissions. For thickness and brand comparisons, see our toploader size guide.

35pt is the thickness of a normal trading card. Thick cards such as patch, relic or memorabilia cards need a higher pt rating, and we do not sell one at the moment.
How to use toploaders
- Sleeve the card first. Put it in a penny sleeve so the card surface never rubs against the PVC.
- Slide it in from the top. Hold the toploader by the edges and push the sleeved card in gently, without forcing the corners.
- Group or seal them. A team bag around a toploader keeps dust out and stops the card sliding out.
- File them. Loaded toploaders go in a 9-pocket binder built for them, such as our premium 9-pocket binder (holds 216 toploaders) or a storage box, not in the pockets of a regular sleeve binder. See all toploader binders.
- Shipping a single. Between collectors, a sleeved card in a toploader, with the opening taped shut using low-tack tape, travels well in a bubble mailer.

25-pack or 100-pack?
The 25-pack ($3.69) suits a small batch of hits from a few booster packs, or a trade binder you are just starting. The 100-pack ($13.99) costs less per toploader and makes sense if you store a whole set of rares, sell singles, or ship cards often. Both packs are the same 35pt 3 × 4 toploader.
